Registration Process

Complete your registration at Nkangala TVET College

Registration Guidelines

Acceptance Letter

Ensure you have received an official acceptance letter from Nkangala TVET College. This letter will contain important information about your registration date, time, and venue.

Required Documents

Prepare the following documents for registration:

  • Original ID document (and 2 copies)
  • Original academic results (and 2 copies)
  • Proof of residence
  • Acceptance letter
  • Proof of payment for registration fee (if applicable)
  • NSFAS approval letter (if applicable)

Registration Fee

Registration fees vary by program. Please contact the finance office for the current registration fee structure. Students with approved NSFAS bursaries may be exempt from paying registration fees.

Registration Process

On your designated registration day:

  1. Report to the registration venue at your assigned time
  2. Submit all required documents for verification
  3. Complete registration forms
  4. Make payment (if applicable)
  5. Receive your student number and timetable
  6. Attend orientation session

After successful registration, you will receive your student number and login credentials for the Student Portal. The Student Portal provides access to:

Registration FAQs

If you miss your scheduled registration date, contact the registration office immediately. Late registration may be permitted within the late registration period (typically one week after the official registration period), but this is subject to space availability and may incur a late registration fee.

After the late registration period closes, you may have to defer your studies to the next intake.

No, you must be present in person for registration. This is to verify your identity, complete necessary forms that require your signature, and ensure you receive important information about your program and campus facilities.

In exceptional circumstances (such as hospitalization), contact the registration office to discuss possible arrangements.

Registration fees can be paid through the following methods:

  • Direct deposit or electronic transfer to the college bank account (bring proof of payment)
  • Debit or credit card payment at the campus finance office
  • Cash payment at the campus finance office

Please note that personal checks are not accepted. Bank details are provided in your acceptance letter.

Classes typically begin one week after the registration period ends. The exact start date will be communicated during registration and will be included in your timetable.

An orientation program is usually scheduled before classes begin to familiarize new students with campus facilities, services, and academic expectations.
