National Certificate (Vocational) - Electrical Infrastructure Construction

A comprehensive program covering theory and practical components of Electrical Infrastructure Construction

Overview

The NC(V) Electrical Infrastructure Construction program is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of electrical infrastructure. This qualification provides students with the opportunity to develop skills that are relevant to the electrical construction industry.

Minimum Entry Requirements

For entry to the NC(V) Electrical Infrastructure Construction program, you require one of the following:

  • Year-end school report for Grade 9-12
  • NQF Level 1 qualification
  • An approved bridging program designed for the specific purpose to access NQF Level 2
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2

Duration

It is a full year program at each NQF level (Level 2, 3, and 4). Students who successfully complete all three levels will be awarded the National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4.
