Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP)

A preparatory program designed to prepare grade 9 learners for TVET College

Overview

The Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP) is designed to bridge the gap between school and college education. It provides learners with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to succeed in vocational education and training programs at TVET colleges.

This program is ideal for students who have completed Grade 9 and wish to pursue technical and vocational education but need additional preparation before entering formal TVET programs.

Minimum Entry Requirements

For entry to the Pre-Vocational Learning Programme, you require:

  • Grade 9-11 report

Duration

It is a full year program that prepares students for entry into NCV or NATED programs.

Subjects

The Pre-Vocational Learning Programme includes the following subjects:

  • Foundational Mathematics
  • Foundational Science
  • Foundational English
  • Life Skills
  • Technology
