MECHANICAL ENGINEERING N1-6
What are the minimum entry requirements to the programme?
For entry in to the Mechanical Engineering N1-2, you require:- Grade 10; or
- Grade 12 Certificate; or
- Equivalent qualification.
For entry in to the Mechanical Engineering N3, you require:
- N2 Certificate; or
- Grade 12; or
- Equivalent qualification.
For entry in to the Mechanical Engineering N4-6, you require:
- N3 - N5 Certificates; or
- Equivalent qualification.
In order to obtain a Nated National Certificate (Mechanical Engineering N1- 2), a student is required to take a total of 4 subjects.
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Engineering Drawing or Plating and Structural Steel Drawing (PSSD)
- Fitting or Platers' Theory
In order to obtain a Nated National Certificate (Mechanical Engineering N4-6), a student is required to take a total of 4 subjects.

How long is the qualification?
The Nated National Certificate (Mechanical Engineering), programme is a full or part time three (03) months programme at each of the Nated (N). A student is issued with a certificate on the successful completion of each Nated (N) of study, that is N1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. (N) of study, that is N1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
