Safety on and around our college campuses is a key concern for everyone. The Nkangala TVET College provides resources to foster a safe and healthy environment for all staff members and students of the college. Safety at the Nkangala TVET College encompasses a wide range of issues and requires the combined efforts of all departments. We know and understand that campus safety is of great concern to everyone, including parents, students and even our staff members.
Maintaining a safe campus requires more than complying with legislation. Educational programs instituted across all components of the campus system, including students, faculty, staff, and safety officials are key. Bystander intervention and trauma informed training programs are also critical to fostering a culture of safety, concern, and mutual responsibility for the campus community.
