Program Overview

The National Certificate (Vocational) in Engineering and Related Design focuses on providing students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in mechanical engineering. This program covers engineering fundamentals, systems, and technology, preparing students for careers in the mechanical engineering field with a focus on design and fabrication.

Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission must satisfy the following academic criteria:

• Minimum Qualification: Grade 9 Certificate or equivalent qualification

Program Duration

The program follows a structured format for efficient progression:

• 3 years (Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4)
• Students receive a certificate upon successful completion of each level
• Full NQF Level 4 qualification awarded upon completion of Level 4
